Join TAASC to host a group of 30 paddlers from Goodwill Columbus for a picnic, paddle, and outdoor fun day! Volunteers will work with paddlers to provide safety training, dry land instruction, and to improve general paddling skills. Many of Goodwills participants return each month, so volunteers can work one on one with them to greatly improve their skills in a kayak!
     
Volunteer Arrival Time: Arrive at 9:30am for event set up.
Volunteer End Time: 2:00pm
Bring: Life jackets, paddles, kayaks, and rescue gear will be provided for all volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own gear for use.
Lunch for volunteers is not provided.
Bring water bottle.
Volunteer Roles Needed: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 kayak volunteers  
Description: All first-timers are required to take a brief safety and skills lesson. TAASC provides kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. All persons in TAASC boats are required to wear their life jacket and have it completely fastened while on the water.
