July 11 - Tuesday Evening Kayaking

Account information: Please create an individual account for every participant with a disability. Family members, friends, and staff can be added as additional attendees. Each family member can kayak for $10 ($20 w/out membership). One staff or family member can kayak at no cost, if they are needed to manage behavior or aid with communication.

Arrival, sign-in and life vest fitting is at 6:00 PM or as you are able to arrive.  All guests using TAASC boats must wear life vests fully fastened when on the water.  This requirement cannot be waived.  Anyone who cannot communicate or behave in a way that volunteers can understand, must have a caregiver with them on the water.

New kayakers who want equipment fitting and lessons can note that in the comment section.  All new kayakers must take a brief introductory skills and safety lesson and demonstrate basic skills.  Kayakers with disabilities receive an equipment assessment, skills and safety lesson and on-going support.

TAASC allows one paid staff person/aide/family member, at no charge, only if needed, to assure safety, maintain behavior, or provide personal care.

Attendees with disabilities must have a current Participant Profile.
