This course covers the basics of flatwater kayaking, and includes some "dry land training" with the majority of the time on the water in a kayak. The course is oriented to beginning kayakers who would like to learn more about the sport and the equipment.
  • Offered on Saturday morning, June 29 from 9:30 AM until about 1:00 PM
  • Fee is $ 25, payable using credit card with our web-based application
  • Maximum of 5 students, minimum of 2 students
  • Location is Adaptive Sports Connection Adventure Center, 6000 Harriott Drive, Powell, Ohio 43065
  • We will provide all of the equipment you need (bring your own kayak and life jacket if you would like). Please wear clothing and footwear (no flip flops please) that will allow you to get wet, we may be in the water out of our kayak briefly.
  • Open to ages 12 and up
  • All participants must be able to meet the Essential Eligibility Criteria for paddlesports listed on our website
