Description
Looking to learn new kayaking skills or brush up on your old ones? Join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month for kayak training and skills development. New volunteers will go through orientation and learn basic skills. Returning volunteers will have to opportunity to work on new skills and with instructors, if interested. We encourage all our volunteers to bring a friend. See you on the water!
Volunteer Arrival Time:

Provided:
Life jackets, paddles, kayaks, and rescue gear will be provided for all volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own gear for use.
Bring:
Water bottle, sunscreen, hat, red TAASC volunteer shirt (if you have one).
Volunteer Roles Needed:
All skills encouraged to attend.
Description:
All first-time kaykers are required to take a brief safety and skills lesson. TAASC provides kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Everyone is required to wear their life jacket and have it completely fastened while on the water.
