Give Your Paddle A Purpose: Join TAASC for Tuesday Night Kayaking. These sessions are designed for people with disabilities and their families to learn and enjoy the sport of kayaking. TAASC volunteers will have the opportunity to work closely with participants to help choose their equipment, learn new skills on dry land, and advance their paddling skills on the water. Participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to paddle on the peaceful Twin Lakes or on the moving water of the Scioto River. Volunteers will receive TAASC training on general program policies and disability awareness, as well as training to advance their own personal paddling skills, if needed. See you on the water!

     
Volunteer Arrival Time: 5:30 PM
   
Volunteer End Time: 8:30 PM
   
Provided: Life jackets, paddles, kayaks, and rescue gear will be provided for all volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own gear for use.
 
Bring:

Water bottle, sunscreen.

   
Volunteer Roles Needed: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 Kayak Volunteers, Registration  
   
Description:

All first-time kaykers are required to take a brief safety and skills lesson. TAASC provides kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Everyone is required to wear their life jacket and have it completely fastened while on the water.
