Tuesday evening kayaking sessions are designed for people with disabilities and their families to learn and enjoy the sport of kayaking. TAASC volunteers will work closely with participants to help the choose equipment, learn skills on dry land, and advance their paddling skills on the water. Participants and volunteers have the opportunity to paddle on peaceful Twin Lakes or on the moving water of the Scioto River on O'Shaughnessy Reservoir. Volunteers will receive TAASC training on general program policies and disability awareness, as well as training to advance their personal paddling skills, if needed.
