Description
Give Your Paddle A Purpose: Join us Sunday, October 1, at TAASC in hosting Amps4Ohio, a Central Ohio amputee support group, for a picnic/chili cookoff and paddle event. Volunteers will help to pair participants with equipment, monitor the paddling area, and provide basic safety and dryland training. Kayaking is scheduled from 2-4pm.

Provided:
Life jackets, paddles, kayaks, and rescue gear will be provided for all volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own gear for use.
Bring:
Volunteers are invited to the cookout.
Water bottle, sunscreen, hat, red TAASC volunteer shirt (if you have one).
Volunteer Roles Needed:
Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 Kayak Volunteers
Description:
All first-time kaykers are required to take a brief safety and skills lesson. TAASC provides kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Everyone is required to wear their life jacket and have it completely fastened while on the water.
