Sept 7 - Dublin SEAC Family Paddle - VOLUNTEERS

Description
Join TAASC in hosting the Special Education Advancement Council for a back to school paddle event at the TAASC Adventure Center. A small group of families with children with special needs will come to TAASC where volunteers will work with them one on one or in small groups to provide a basic kayak lesson and paddling experience.
Volunteer Arival Time:
5:30 PM
End Time:
8:00 PM
Bring:
Life jackets, paddles, kayaks, and rescue gear will be provided for all volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own gear for use.
Bring water bottle, sunscreen.
Lunch is NOT provided.
Volunteer Roles Needed:
Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 kayak volunteers
Description:
All first-time kaykers are required to take a brief safety and skills lesson. TAASC provides kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Everyone is required to wear their life jacket and have it completely fastened while on the water.
