Description
Give Your Paddle A Purpose: Join TAASC Thursday, August 3, in hosting a group of adults with developmental disabilities for a picnic and paddle event. A group of no more than 30 paddlers and staff will come to TAASC. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work one-on-one or in small groups with the adults to provide a basic kayak lesson and paddling experience.

Volunteer End Time:
2:00 PM
Provided:
Life jackets, paddles, kayaks, and rescue gear will be provided for all volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own gear for use.
Bring:
Lunch is not provided for volunteers.
Water bottle, sunscreen, hat, red TAASC volunteer shirt (if you have one).
Volunteer Roles Needed:
Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 Kayak Volunteers
Description:
All first-time kaykers are required to take a brief safety and skills lesson. TAASC provides kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Everyone is required to wear their life jacket and have it completely fastened while on the water.
